I'm trying to find the recipes from Episode 15 that was on last week here in Grand Cayman. I can't seem to find it. Any suggestions?

Re: 30 Minute Meals
It was a Sea Bass with a sweet potato mash. I only saw the last part of the sweet potatoes, but it had mango chutney, coriander olive and lime and some type of peppers. I'm assuming hot peppers. It was all served on a wood platter as one dish.
Thank you to anyone who can find this episodes recipes for me :-)

Re: 30 Minute Meals
I found it! Thanks for pointing this one out. It looks delicious. I haven't caught every episode. I'm hoping BBC America is into re-running shows the way our Public Broadcasting Station does. I've really enjoyed this series and I like the concept very much, even though I doubt I'll time myself, but I might.

I don't know much about international tv stations, but Jamie's shows aren't owned by or shown on the BBC. It's generally Channel 4.

Re: 30 Minute Meals
BBC America is airing the show here in the U.S. right now, so they must have bought the rights to do so from the dreaded Channel 4. We are all too aware of Channel 4 airing the shows when they first come out because we would have to pay to view.

Cheers All!!! Appreciate the assistance. I'm making it this weekend :-) I'm actually in Grand Cayman as of now and not sure if we get BBC America, or the real thing. Love Jamie Oliver though and went to his restaurant when I was in the UK a few years ago.

Re: 30 Minute Meals
Welcome to the forum twseahorse
Hope it all works out ok . Which meal will you be cooking ?
The important time is to get every thing ready before you start to cook , water boiled in the kettle, oven heating, pans , knives etc that you will need all out and ready on the side, food processor if you have one pluged in and pre read the recipe instructions some time before you start to cook.
I can manage these meals in the allotted time, but I am used to cooking every day from fresh ingredients and have done so for many years , often producing meals at speed for a hungry family.
But ..Not everyone can manage these meals in the allotted time the first time that they start to cook , my son is working through the book and finds that nt he has a food proceessor that things are faster.
The more you do these meals I think the easier they become.
Hope all goes well.

You are welcome! And, it is the real show, same series shown originally on Channel 4 and BBC America is the real BBC. They did change the name to 'Jamie's Meals in Minutes' and I am guessing that's because Rachel Ray had already taken the Thirty Minute Meals title years ago for her program.

Re: 30 Minute Meals
I have mixed feelings about the series, as I stated in my other thread. There's no possible way anyone could make those dishes in a half hour. Sure.... I could do it if I had someone to prep all the ingredients and then do all the dishes. But otherwise, no it can't be done.
Also, I caught Jamie in a contradiction. On Jamie at Home he advised to never use white button mushrooms because they don't taste like anything. On the 30min meals chicken pot pie he said that white buttons have a wonderful texture and he put them in the dish. Am I too much of a stickler?
