The most beautiful blue flowers
are in a spartitraffico/traffic island ot far from here. I see them every morning going to my baker, but I always forget where they precisely are and after I drive past them, I keep thinking I should back and take a plant, or take a pic or................ just enjoy the flash of color
I could eventually discover what they are

Re: The most beautiful blue flowers
I love that really deep blue of cornflowers, or love-in-a-mist, I wonder if it is one of them?

Definitely not blue pacific! I have seen this before! It is quite rough, almost prickly?
I will try to remember!

Re: The most beautiful blue flowers
Californian lilac (Ceanothus ‘Blue Pacific’) is an attractive evergreen shrub that has dark green glossy foliage with masses of rich, deep blue flowers in dense clusters during spring through to summer. It is a hardy and rapid growing shrub to 3 m high by 2 m wide. Prefers full-sun to partial shade and a light feeding during growth, this drought tolerant species is ideal for informal hedges, coastal planting and low maintenance gardens. To maintain compact growth, prune lightly after flowering.
(Took this from a website. Everyone grows them in Central Victoria because they thrive in the climate)
